FUNGOFIN spray 1% 30ml
A non-prescription medicine in the form of a spray for topical antifungal treatment that works by killing the fungi that cause skin infections. Fungofin Spray 1% skin spray is used to treat the following skin infections:
- Athlete's foot - usually affects both feet, but not always. Most often appears between the toes, on the arch of the foot or other part of the foot. Athlete's foot causes cracking or peeling of the skin, slight swelling, blisters or wet sores are likely to appear.
- Fungus in the inguinal areas (groin and inner thighs) - can spread between the legs and towards the buttocks or upwards towards the stomach, the folds under the breasts, the armpits or other areas where the skin is folded.
- Fungus in the inguinal areas manifests itself as a rash, sometimes accompanied by blisters and itching.
- Ringworm (ringworm) - can appear anywhere on the body, but is most commonly found on the head, neck, face or hands. It usually looks like a round, red rash, but can also appear as scaly patches and be itchy.
Special instructions:
Do not use Fungofin 1% skin spray if you are allergic to terbinafine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. Fungofin 1% skin spray, solution is for use on the skin only. Fungofin 1% skin spray, solution should not be used in the mouth or swallowed. Do not spray Fungofin 1% skin spray, solution on your face, eyes or broken skin. If this happens, rinse thoroughly with running water. Fungofin 1% skin spray, solution is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age due to insufficient data on the safety and efficacy of the product in this age group. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines. Do not apply any other medicines to the treated areas. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine. It is not recommended to take Fungofin 1% skin spray, solution during pregnancy, unless clearly necessary. It is not recommended to treat breastfeeding women with Fungofin 1% skin spray, solution. Do not use after the expiry date. It is recommended to store in a dry, cool and out of reach of children place at a temperature below 25°C.
