Omron's M7 Intelli IT AFib 2025 uses the latest AI-powered AFib technology, which calculates blood pressure values and detects atrial fibrillation (AFib) using the pulse pressure waveform (PPW) during measurement. PPW is a waveform that represents the dynamics of arterial pressure. Intellisense AFib captures these differences to detect the possibility of atrial fibrillation (AFib) during each measurement with the device. The updated technology enables atrial fibrillation detection with high sensitivity (95%), accuracy (97%), and specificity (98%) compared to ECG recording devices. The AFib function is active in both single and triple measurement modes, respectively, allowing for precise heart activity tracking for early detection of abnormalities during each blood pressure measurement.
The connection of the device with the Omron Connect application makes it easier to understand the measured values. In the application, the patient receives numerous options for monitoring the condition, storing data over a long period of time, sharing the results with a specialist for more effective control of the prescribed therapy, reminders to take medication, the ability for a loved one to follow up on the measured results by receiving a weekly or monthly report on the measurements taken by the patient, and more.
