Bepanthen® Ointment 100g. - Provitamin B5 (Panthenol) Cares for and protects the skin from chapping. It is also suitable for breast care of nursing women.
Bepanthen® Ointment is specially formulated to care for even the most delicate skin, such as baby skin, and provides protection against the causes of diaper rash. It is also suitable for breast care of nursing mothers.

When used for breast care of nursing women, it is necessary to remove traces of the ointment before breastfeeding.

Caring for your baby's bottom
The best remedy is prevention. Here are a few steps you can take to prevent underbite from occurring:
• It is very important that the contact time between the baby's sensitive skin and urine/feces is as short as possible. Therefore, frequent changes of disposable diapers are recommended. If you use cloth diapers, a disposable liner can help protect your baby's skin.
• Use a protective product. Cover your baby's bottom with a thin layer of a protective product such as Bepanthen® at every diaper change and especially before bedtime. Bepanthen® Ointment strengthens the skin's natural protective barrier and prevents the penetration of irritants from urine and feces by creating a transparent protective film.
• Let the skin breathe. Leave the baby without diapers for as long as possible. Make sure in advance that the room temperature is suitable and that you have a comfortable towel or diaper on hand in case of a possible "accidental leak".
• Use the right size diapers for your baby and don't make them too tight. Disposable diapers can keep the skin dry, but you need to make sure they allow air to circulate.
• Daily care. Many of the products on the market contain antiseptics and other ingredients that are not suitable for daily use on sensitive baby skin. For daily protection, use a gentle product designed specifically for baby skin, such as Bepanthen Ointment.
• Clean your baby's bottom carefully with each diaper change - the entire area should be thoroughly cleaned and dried.
