Babies are especially defenseless when their noses are blocked, as they are unable to remove the secretions themselves. They experience difficulty breathing as well as eating, drinking and sleeping. Due to their still immature immune systems, babies are also more susceptible to complications such as ear infections or sinusitis, which can develop as a result of a stuffy nose.
Quix® baby is an isotonic solution of sea water in a convenient soft bottle containing sterile drops without preservatives.
Quix® baby contains 100% natural water from the Atlantic Ocean with a number of valuable minerals and trace elements and helps to restore the normal function of the nasal mucosa.
Due to the low salt concentration, comparable to normal salt levels in the body (isotonic solution), Quix® baby is very gentle on babies' noses.
Quix® baby softens accumulated secretions, facilitating their release and moisturizing the nasal mucosa. This facilitates recovery and helps your baby breathe easily again.
The sterile dropper with antibacterial filter guarantees easy and hygienic use and is ideally suited for daily use in babies' sensitive nostrils.
What is Quix® Baby and what does it contain?
Quix® baby is a natural isotonic nasal solution that contains water from the Atlantic Ocean with its valuable minerals and trace elements.
The concentration of salt in Kwix® baby is commensurate with the normal salt levels in the body, which is why Kwiks® baby is very gentle on babies' noses. Every 100 ml of Quix® baby contains 28.6 ml of Atlantic Ocean water and 71.4 ml of purified water.
What is Quix® baby used for?

How does Quix® baby work?

Who can use Quix® baby? Quix® baby can be used from the first day of life for babies, small and older children and adults, including pregnant and lactating women.
Use of Quix® baby How often and how much of Quix® baby should you use?
Indirect application with a cotton swab is recommended for newborn babies and infants up to 3 months of age.
1-3 drops in each nostril 2 to 6 times daily or more as needed.
Direct application
1. Remove the cap from the dropper.
2. Place the baby on his back face up.
3. Place the tip of the dropper in one of the baby's nostrils and carefully press both sides of the
the bottle until drops come out. Wait for the excess solution to drain from the nostril before wiping the baby's nose.
4. Repeat for the other nostril.
5. After application, clean the tip with soapy water, rinse and dry (a sterile wipe can be used if water is not available, but soapy water is preferred).
6. After use, put the cap on the dropper.
7. Do not use the product together with other persons.
If direct application into the nose is not possible, you can use a cotton swab, but do not insert the earplug into your baby's nostril.
Indirect application:
1. After washing your hands, shape the cotton pad into a cylinder that fits into the baby's nostril. Moisten the cotton swab with Quix® baby.
2. Carefully insert the cotton swab into the baby's nostril, twist it and carefully remove it. Do not drop the cotton swab as long as you rotate it.
Please use one cotton tampon for each nostril!
How long can Quicks® baby be used?
There are no restrictions on the duration of use. If you have any questions, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
When should Quix® baby not be used?
Do not use Quix® baby if your baby is hypersensitive (allergic) to seawater.

How to store Quicks® Baby
• To be stored at room temperature.
• To be stored in a place inaccessible to children.
Packaging description
Quix® baby is sold in a bottle containing 10 ml of solution. Each bottle contains approximately 270 drops. The bottle contains a built-in anti-bacterial system that prevents microorganisms from entering the solution during the entire period of use.
Do not use Quix® baby after the expiration date indicated on the packaging after the symbol.
Quix® baby can be used up to 3 months after first opening the bottle.
Note
Do not use this medical device if you notice that the packaging is damaged.
