A charity campaign to raise funds for 13-year-old Stevie has started in Subra pharmacies across the country in March. Donation boxes for monetary contributions to support the boy’s treatment abroad are placed in all chain locations.
Steven Borislavov is a young football player from the youth academies of CSKA and Levski. However, at just 13 years old, he was forced to leave the field to face his toughest challenge — a serious diagnosis of Ewing's Sarcoma. This disease is a type of cancer that affects bones and soft tissues. It is associated with swelling and pain, fever, and frequent fractures. It leads to severe complications, and the treatment can only be done abroad.
The treatment involves chemotherapy and radiotherapy, surgery, and stem cell transplantation, which will be performed by a clinic in Germany. The required amount exceeds 400,000 Euros, which is unaffordable for Stevie’s family.
Charity campaigns to raise the necessary funds are already underway nationwide. Stevie’s current football club, CSKA, initiated a charity auction in his support, while his former teammates from Levski organized a charity football tournament with all youth teams in the region. The Dragichevo municipality joined the initiatives along with dozens of youth football schools and organizations across the country. In March, the Subra pharmacy chain also joined in support of this noble cause.
We kindly ask you to support the campaign to bring back the smile to a 13-year-old boy and together give Stevie a chance for life and the fulfillment of all his dreams!
