On May 20, 2025, the second edition of the Career Forum "Career Development Day" took place at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". SUBRA pharmacies had the pleasure of participating in the event with an informational booth, where we presented career development opportunities within our pharmacy network.
The event was organized by the faculty leadership, the Faculty Student Council, and the Career Center of the Faculty. It brought together 34 organizations – companies, institutions, and research institutes – with the goal of creating direct connections between students and their potential future employers. The forum provided a platform to promote internship and scholarship programs, as well as current job opportunities in the fields of pharmacy and chemistry.
Prof. Dr. Anela Ivanova, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Galina Gencheva, Vice Dean for Quality Management, Accreditation and Employer Relations, officially opened the event and expressed their hope that this meeting would be mutually beneficial – helping students find their professional direction and enabling employers to meet motivated and well-prepared young professionals.
For SUBRA pharmacies participating in this forum is part of our long-term commitment to support the next generation of pharmacy professionals by offering them a solid foundation for career growth, continuing education, and professional realization in a well-established and dynamically growing pharmacy chain.
The conversations and interactions with students were extremely valuable to us. We firmly believe that initiatives like this play a key role in building a strong bridge between academia and real-world practice, and we are proud to continue supporting and participating in such meaningful events.
