Desloratadine contains desloratadine, which is an antihistamine. It is an anti-allergic medicine that does not cause drowsiness. It helps to control allergic reactions and their symptoms. Desloratadine relieves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nasal passages caused by an allergy, such as hay fever or house dust mite allergy) in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. These symptoms include sneezing, itchy or runny nose, itchy palate, itching, redness or watery eyes.
Deslaris is also used to relieve the symptoms of urticaria (a skin condition caused by an allergy). These symptoms include itching and hives.

The relief of these symptoms lasts all day and helps you restore your normal daily activities and sleep.
Dosage: 1 tablet daily

For adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over – 1 tablet (5 mg) once daily
 Oral administration: The dose can be taken with or without food.
In intermittent allergic rhinitis (presence of symptoms for less than 4 days a week or for
less than 4 weeks) should be treated according to the individual patient's history
patient, and after the symptoms are controlled, the treatment can be stopped, and if they recur –
to resume.
In persistent allergic rhinitis (presence of symptoms for more than 4 days a week or for
more than 4 weeks) patients may be offered treatment without interruption during
the periods of exposure to the allergen
