MUCOZYME / Mucozyme syrup for dry and wet cough 150ml
Vivafarma's Mucozym is a syrup for dry and wet coughs, with a natural pineapple flavor. It is effective for colds of the lower respiratory tract, acute and chronic bronchitis, tracheobronchitis, pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and bronchiectasis.
Active ingredients:
Narrow-leaved plantain leaves - have expectorant, secretolytic, bacteriostatic and antiviral effects. They exhibit a powerful anti-inflammatory effect, inhibit both pathways of arachidonic acid degradation and suppress mediators of inflammation in the inflammatory focus (cytokines, interleukins and leukotrienes). They stimulate the phagocytic activity of granulocytes and have a pronounced antioxidant effect;
Thyme - contains thymol, which has antibacterial and antifungal effects against Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus subtilis and Candida albicans. Through its antispasmodic and mucolytic effects, it influences expectoration. It helps restore the respiratory tract, acts antiseptically and liquefies the adhered mucus on the mucous membrane;
Chamomile - has a pronounced antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antiviral and analgesic effect. Its flowers contain essential oils and flavonoids, which have an antiseptic and soothing effect. Thanks to its anti-allergic activity, it has a good effect on asthma symptoms. It contributes to the normal regeneration of the epithelium of the pharynx and bronchi;
Bromelain - a plant proteolytic enzyme with analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. In bronchitis, it has an antitussive and mucolytic effect, reducing the viscosity of bronchial secretions and promoting expectoration.
Reception:
For children 2 - 6 years: 1/2 - 1 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 2 - 4 times daily. For children 6 - 12 years: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 - 6 times daily. For children over 12 years and adults: 1 - 3 teaspoons (5 -15 ml) up to 6 times daily.
