Visine Sprint 0.5 mg/ml eye drops, solution

tetryzoline hydrochloride/tetryzoline hydrochloride

Purpose:
Vizin Sprint contains the active substance tetrizoline hydrochloride. It belongs to a group of medicines called ophthalmic decongestants (medicines for use in the eye).

Action:
Vizin Sprint is used to treat temporary redness of the eyes due to mild non-infectious irritation, such as smoke, dust, wind, chlorinated water, light, or allergies in adults, adolescents, and children from 2 years of age. Children under 6 years of age should be treated with Visine Sprint only after recommendation from a medical professional.

Warnings:
Do not use this medicine:

if you are allergic to tetrizoline hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).

if you have narrow-angle glaucoma

in children under 2 years of age.

Warnings and precautions

Talk to your doctor before using Visine Sprint if you suffer from the following conditions. You may still be able to use Visine Sprint, but you should discuss it with your doctor first if you have:

serious cardiovascular diseases (e.g. ischemic heart disease, high blood pressure, pheochromocytoma)

benign prostatic hyperplasia

metabolic disorders (e.g. hyperthyroidism, diabetes, disorders of protein synthesis)

pigment in red blood cells)

dry rhinitis (chronic inflammation in the front of the nose)

keratoconjunctivitis sicca (dryness of the conjunctiva and cornea)

glaucoma (an eye disease that damages the optic nerve, which connects the eye to the brain)

If there is no improvement within 48 hours, if redness or irritation persists or worsens, or if you experience changes in vision or eye pain, stop using this medicine and consult a doctor. Irritation or redness due to infection, a foreign body in the eye or Chemical trauma to the cornea also requires medical attention. If you experience headache, vision loss, visual disturbances (e.g., floaters or double vision), severe, severe or unilateral redness of the eyes, or pain when exposed to light, discontinue use. of the medicine and consult a doctor, as this may mean that you have a serious eye condition for which this product will not help.

Be careful not to use more of this medicine than you should and not to use it for too long (i.e. more than 3-5 consecutive days), as this may worsen red eyes or nasal symptoms.

When using this product, your pupils may temporarily dilate.

Instructions for contact lens wearers

In general, contact lenses should not be worn if you have an eye condition. If contact lenses are worn, they should be removed before applying the medicine and not reinserted for 15 minutes after application.
