1. What Osadent pills are and what they are used for
Osadent Pills is a homeopathic medicinal product for the relief of teething complaints in infants and young children associated with pain, fever, diarrhoea, irritability, restlessness and insomnia. Osadent is used to treat the listed complaints only when they are due to teething.
Please note that the familiar teething symptoms (pain, fever, diarrhea, irritability, restlessness and insomnia) can also be caused by other diseases. In case the complaints are not affected within 48 hours, consult your doctor.
Osadent Pills is a product made from five separate homeopathic components, each of which contributes to the efficacy of the product. These five components complement each other, as a result of which their pharmacological action is strengthened in relation to the most frequent complaints during the growth of the first teeth.
The use of the sugar substitute - xylitol, prevents the development of caries on the teeth that have appeared.
2. What you need to know before using Osadent pills
Do not use Osadent pills
if your child is allergic to the active substances or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in point 6).
Warnings and precautions
Consult your doctor:
if your child does not respond sufficiently to taking Osadent pulili or if additional complaints appear.
In the event that the complaints do not respond within 48 hours or aggravation occurs, consult a doctor.
Other medicines and Osadent pills
Interactions with other medicinal products are not known.
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if your child is taking, has recently taken or might take any other medicines.
Osadent pills with food, drink and alcohol
Apply Osadent pills 15 minutes before or after a meal.
Pregnancy, lactation and fertility
Not applicable as Osadent pills are only intended for infants and children.
Driving and using machines
Not applicable
Osadent pills contain traces of lactose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, contact your doctor before taking this medicinal product.
Patients with rare hereditary problems such as galactose intolerance, the LAPP lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine.
3. How to use Osadent pills
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is:
Children under 1 year:
2 pills are placed between the child's lower lip and gum or dissolved in a little water every 2 hours. In case of severe pain - 2 pills every 30 minutes up to a maximum of 12 pills per day.
Children over 1 year:
8 pills are placed under the child's tongue or dissolved in a little water every 2 hours. In case of severe pain - 8 pills every 30 minutes up to a maximum of 48 pills per day.
Receptions are diluted with improvement and discontinued in the absence of complaints.

In case of severe pain: every 30 minutes up to a maximum of 12 per day
Children over 1 year 8 pills Every 2 hours
In case of severe pain: every 30 minutes up to a maximum of 48 per day
Application method
Children under 1 year: the pills are placed between the lower lip and the gum of the child or dissolved in a little water
Children over 1 year: the pills are placed under the child's tongue or dissolved in a little water.
When opening for the first time: remove the sealing gasket immediately after opening to avoid ingestion by the child.
If you have used more than the required dose of Osadent pills
No cases of overdose have been reported.
If you have stopped using Osadent pills
If you have any further questions related to the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

5. How to store Osadent pills
To be stored below 30°C.
Keep the pill pack tightly closed to protect from moisture.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton after EXP. The expiration date corresponds to the last day of the specified month.
Do not use this medicine if you notice visible signs of product deterioration.
Do not dispose of medicines down the drain or in the household waste container. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.

Magnesium phosphoricum C6 0.8 mg/g
1 g is approximately 120 pills
The other ingredients are: xylitol, hypromellose, traces of lactose monohydrate
What Osadent pills look like and what the pack contains
White pills with a sweet taste and no smell.
White polypropylene pill pack with polypropylene cap, with pill dispenser. 7.5 g pills in one package.
