Purpose:
For pain, swelling and inflammation.
Action:
ALMIRAL GEL is a non-prescription medicinal product in the form of a gel applied to the skin containing diclofenac diethylamine, which is used to treat pain and swelling caused by a variety of conditions commonly affecting the joints, ligaments (joint connections), tendons and muscles , such as sprains, strains and soft tissue injuries, in a localized form of soft tissue rheumatism, as well as osteoarthritis of peripheral joints, e.g. knee. Diclofenac is an anti-inflammatory drug used to reduce pain, inflammation, and stiffness. Diclofenac works by reducing substances that cause inflammation and pain in the body. It belongs to the group of medicinal products called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Warnings:
Keep your eyes away from the gel. If it accidentally gets into your eyes, wash them thoroughly with cold water. Notify your doctor immediately. Wash your hands after applying the gel, unless they were a treatment area. Do not swallow the gel. After rubbing the gel, wash your hands (unless they were a treatment area).
Sprains, strains, and bruises should improve within 2 weeks. If this does not happen or you get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist. If you use ALMIRAL GEL for arthritis, your doctor may want to check you regularly.
Use in children under 12 years of age: It is not recommended to use ALMIRAL GEL in children under 12 years of age.
If you are not sure how to use your medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
If you accidentally apply too much of the gel, remove the excess by rinsing with water.
If you forget to use ALMIRAL
If you miss applying the medicine at the right time, rub it in when you remember, then use the gel as usual. Do not use a double dose.

Method of use:
ALMIRAL GEL should be gently rubbed into the skin around the swollen or painful area. Depending on the size of the affected area, about 2-4g should be applied (equivalent to a round mass with a diameter of about 2-2.5cm), three to four times a day, unless your doctor has prescribed or a pharmacist has consulted you otherwise . You may feel a slight cooling sensation at the site of application on the skin. Do not rub the gel on cuts, wounds or damaged skin, do not cover the skin with bandages or plasters after applying the gel.
Composition:
1 gram of ALMIRAL GEL contains 11.6 mg of diclofenac diethylamine.
Excipients: Propylene glycol, isopropanol, carboxypolymethylene (Carbopol 940), dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether, peppermint oil, purified water.
