Heparoid contains the active substance heparinoid. Heparinoid works by dissolving small blood clots in superficial blood vessels and improving the blood supply to the skin.
Heparoid is a preparation - a local anticoagulant, which, when applied to the skin, soothes pain and inflammation and in addition contributes to the healing of inflammation of the veins, including varicose ulcers. It is used to improve circulation after bruising (including hematoma) or soft tissue injury, including damage to muscles, tendons, joint capsules and ligaments; post-traumatic edema and to improve scar formation after injuries or surgeries.
Heparoid is intended for use by adults, children and adolescents.
