Occult bleeding in the stool is traces of blood that cannot be seen.

diverticulitis and fissures, there may be no visible symptoms, only occult
bleeding. The occult bleeding test is intended for self-testing and
home use, but it is advisable to discuss its results with
doctor.
What is the test and what does it report?
FOB Occult Bleeding Test is a rapid immunoassay for the qualitative detection of human
fecal occult blood. The test is an in vitro diagnostic tool for
self-testing.
How is the test done?
Collect sample using the swab in the tube. Place the swab back in the tube and add 2~3 drops of the sample solution to the well of the test cassette.
Read the result after 10 minutes.
Who is the test suitable for?
- For people over 50 years of age, testing is recommended every year.
- In case of familial burden, regular testing should begin after
40 years old.
What does a positive result mean?
A positive result means that occult bleeding has been detected. It does not mean that you tested positive for cancer or another disease.
If the result is positive, consult a doctor for further tests.
