Dry skin is often a result of external factors. Potential causes of dry skin include:
- Weather: Skin is drier in winter when the temperature and humidity are low.
- Heating the rooms: Whether it is central heating, wood stoves or other ways of heating the rooms in which we live/work, etc., all of this reduces the humidity level and can consequently cause drying of the skin.
- Hot showers and baths: A long hot bath may sound good, but it can dry out your skin.
- Soaps, detergents, aggressive shampoos. Cleaning agents can disrupt the skin's hydration level.
Bepanthen® Cream is specially designed to care for dry and irritated skin.
How does Bepanthen® Cream work?
Thanks to its specific formula, which includes ingredients with proven moisturizing properties (e.g. panthenol, lanolin), Bepanthen® Cream hydrates the skin, and through provitamin B5 (panthenol) it supports the natural skin regeneration process, thus strengthening its protective barrier.
How to use Bepanthen® Cream?
Apply the product to dry areas of the skin in a thin layer with light massage movements. For best results, apply Bepanthen® Cream several times a day.
Is this product suitable for me?
Bepanthen® Cream has a light, soft formula that is quickly absorbed, making it suitable for the care of areas exposed to external factors, regardless of their degree of hairiness. Without perfume or dyes, it gently cares for dry and sensitive skin prone to irritation.
Preventing skin dryness:
In addition to regular use of a moisturizing product such as Bepanthen® Cream, there are several easy measures that can be taken to prevent skin dryness, including:
· Limit your exposure to water. Try to limit your shower and bath time to about 10 minutes or less. Also, use warm, not hot, water. Try to replace baths with showers as much as possible, and the frequency should be no more than once a day.
· Avoid strong/aggressive soaps and hygiene products that dry out the skin. Try to use only products that are gentle on your skin, such as cleansing creams, detergents and shower gels with a moisturizing effect.
· Cover your skin as much as possible during the cold season. The environmental changes that occur during winter (e.g. low humidity) can cause or exacerbate dry skin. Remember to protect yourself by wearing a scarf, hat and gloves when going outside.
· Protective gloves. If you keep your hands in water for a long time or use aggressive cleaning agents, always wear protective gloves (rubber).

- Age – over 50% of adults complain of dry skin
- Dry environment with low humidity, cold, overly heated rooms
- Jobs that require frequent or prolonged contact with water/humid environments/potentially irritating substances
- Swimming in pools with water with a high chlorine content
