Cicatridina Plus rectal ointment is indicated for adjuvant treatment of the anorectal canal in internal and external hemorrhoids, proctitis, cryptitis, anal fissures, fissures, perianal fistulas and after proctological surgeries.
The action of Cicatridina Plus rectal ointment is due to the combination of white petrolatum, petrolatum oil and hyaluronic acid, whose ability to retain water creates a moist environment that hydrates, accelerates and improves the natural process of re-epithelialization and repair.
Thus, Cicatridina Plus not only contributes to relieving discomfort and painful symptoms, but also promotes faster tissue healing.
Composition:
White petrolatum and petrolatum oil (953 mg/g), sodium salt of hyaluronic acid (0.1 mg/g), propylene glycol, LAURETH-9, phytosomes escin beta-sitosterol, phytosomes glycyrrhizic acid, BHT.
Method of use:
For adults and children: two applications daily, one in the morning and one in the evening, if possible after a bowel movement.
Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using Cicatridina Plus. Pierce the membrane of the tube using the tip cap. Apply an appropriate amount of product to the area to be treated with light massage movements. Close the tube with the cap.
Possible intrarectal administration is easier with the appropriate cannula, which is included in the package.
1. Screw the cannula onto the tube.
2. Remove the cap from the cannula.
3. Squeeze the tube until the ointment starts to come out of the cannula holes.
4. Insert the cannula into the anal cavity and squeeze the tube again to release a little of the ointment.
5. Clean the applicator after use and cover it with the protective cap.
Personal use of the product is recommended. If necessary, Cicatridina Plus rectal ointment can be used for extended periods of time, in any case, after 30 days of continuous use, discontinue treatment for one week.

Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to one of the product components.

There are no known interactions with other products and it is therefore recommended to consult your doctor before using Cicatridina Plus rectal ointment together with other medical devices or medicines for rectal use.
Are there any side effects?
The use of all topical products, especially if prolonged, may cause sensitization. If this occurs or you notice other side effects, discontinue use and consult your doctor or pharmacist.
What precautions should I take?
Keep Cicatridina Plus out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow. Since no specific clinical studies have been conducted, consult your doctor before using the product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
How long is Cicatridina Plus good for and how should I store it?
The expiry date is stated on the packaging and is valid for the product in unopened and properly stored packaging. Do not use after the expiry date or if the packaging is opened or damaged. Store the medical device in a tightly closed packaging, protected from light and heat. After first opening, do not use the product if there are visible signs of deterioration, such as yellowing or an unpleasant odor.
