Xanthernet sterile eye gel, 20 monodoses
Xanternet ophthalmic gel is a sterile, clear eye gel containing sodium hyaluronate 0.15%, xanthan gum 1% and netilmicin 0.3%. Preservative-free. Xanternet contains two natural polymers: sodium hyaluronate and xanthan gum. After instillation into the conjunctival sac, Xanternet mixes with tears and forms a clear, viscous coating that reduces friction due to eye movements and blinking. Xanternet protects the surface of the eye, allowing wounds or abrasions to heal. Xanternet also contains netilmicin, a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic used to reduce the risk of bacterial infections.

The product is not recommended during breastfeeding, as aminoglycosides are excreted in breast milk in small quantities.
