PERIO•AID® INTENSIVE CARE mouthwash for professional use. Fights biofilm in the oral cavity. Packaging: 500 ml. Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Xylitol, Chlorhexidine Digluconate, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Cetylpyridinium Chloride, Potassium Acesulfame, Sodium Saccharin, Neohesperidin Dichalcone, Aroma, CI 42090. NO alcohol. Gluten-free Active ingredients: 0.12% chlorhexidine digluconate; 0.05% cetylpyridinium chloride Indications: before or after dental interventions, for cases of excessive plaque accumulation (biofilm). How to use: 1 rinse with 15ml for 30 seconds twice a day - after brushing the teeth with toothpaste and a toothbrush. DO NOT SWALLOW! After use, do not rinse with water and do not eat for 30 minutes. Treatment from 2 to 4 weeks. Most toothpastes contain anionic compounds that reduce the effectiveness of chlorhexidine. After using such products, you should rinse your mouth 3 times with plenty of water before using Perio·Aid Intensive Care Mouthwash. Perio·Aid Intensive Care gel does not contain such anionic compounds and is perfectly compatible with mouthwash. Side effects: - In some cases, a change in taste may occur. In very rare cases – a burning sensation on the tongue. Such effects decrease with prolonged use of the product. - This product contains chlorhexidine, which may cause temporary discoloration of the teeth. Due to the low concentration of chlorhexidine, this staining occurs in rare cases and only after prolonged use, when in contact with certain substances, foods and drinks, such as wine, coffee and tobacco. The staining effect is not permanent and can be avoided with proper oral hygiene. Brush the teeth carefully and clean the interdental spaces with the appropriate tools (interdental brushes) before rinsing with the mouthwash. If this is not enough to remove the stains, your dentist can help remove them. - In rare cases, inflammation of the salivary glands is observed. In all of them, the inflammation disappears after stopping the use of the product. Keep away from children. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
