Azitrox is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by one or more microorganisms susceptible to azithromycin (see section 5.1): •Upper respiratory tract infections: pharyngitis/tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media •Lower respiratory tract infections: bronchitis and community-acquired pneumonia •Skin and soft tissue infections: moderate acne vulgaris, erythema migrans (first stage of Lyme disease), erysipelas, impetigo and secondary pyoderma. •Sexually transmitted diseases: uncomplicated genital infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis.
