DEXERYL cream 250ml
What DEXERYL cream contains:
Glycerol, white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, glycerol monostearate, stearic acid, polydimethylcyclosiloxane, silicone oil, macrogol 600, trolamine, propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), purified water.
What DEXERYL cream is used for:
Protective skin cream for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of skin dryness (xerosis) in various skin diseases (such as atopic dermatitis, ichthyosis).
How DEXERYL cream works:
DEXERYL Cream is formulated to treat the signs and symptoms of dry skin (xerosis):
the film-forming effect of white soft paraffin and liquid paraffin: physically prevents evaporation, thus preventing dehydration (water loss);
has a barrier effect against external damage;
in addition, the hydrating effect of glycerol helps maintain balanced skin hydration.
Thanks to its formula, DEXERYL cream also reduces and prevents skin irritation.
How to use DEXERYL cream:
The cream is for external use only. Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected skin to be treated, once or twice a day, or if necessary, more often, but not more than 6 times a day. Always close the tube tightly after use.
When DEXERYL cream should not be used:
It should not be used by people who are allergic to any of the ingredients and especially to paraben (propyl parahydroxybenzoate - E216). As relevant information is lacking, it is preferable not to use the cream together with other topical products. If you have any doubts, seek advice from a medical professional.
Warnings and special instructions for use:
- Do not apply to a wound.
- Do not swallow.
- Do not put in eyes.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
Possible side effects:
Because it contains propyl parahydroxybenzoate, the cream may rarely cause eczema-like allergic skin reactions and very rarely an immediate reaction with hives. Tell your doctor about any side effects not described in this leaflet.
Special precautions for storage:
Do not store above 30 °C.
Do not use after the expiry date marked on the tube.
