The sensitive stomach balm of the German company Bärbel Drexel contains a specially selected combination of herbs and vitamin C with a soothing and normalizing digestion effect. Magenbalsam combines extracts of licorice (licorice), mallow, medicinal rouge, angelica, cranberry concentrate and other medicinal plants supporting the functions of the gastrointestinal tract. The added vitamin C in the balm exhibits powerful antioxidant properties and supports the immune protective barrier of the intestines. Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) is a perennial, herbaceous plant that has been used for centuries as a digestive aid for various stomach complaints. It stimulates the production of mucus and the formation of alkaline mucus, which protects the gastric mucosa from irritation. Suppresses the growth of Helicobacter pylori - the bacterium that causes stomach ulcers and chronic gastritis. Relieves heaviness and burning due to reflux in the stomach and esophagus. It is a genus of herbaceous plants from the Malvaceae family. The types of mallow used for medicinal purposes contain high concentrations of mucilaginous substances and essential oils, useful in inflammatory conditions of the intestines, ulcers, colitis and gastritis. Mallow has antispasmodic and digestion-improving effects, normalizes bowel movements in case of constipation, supports liver functions. In folk medicine, it is also used successfully in inflammatory conditions of the respiratory tract.
