Magenbalsam combines extracts of licorice (licorice), mallow, marshmallow, angelica, cranberry concentrate and other medicinal plants that support the functions of the gastrointestinal tract. Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) is a perennial, herbaceous plant that has been used for centuries to relieve digestion in various stomach complaints.
