The dietary supplement Pressiomir®, from the Italian brand Fitobios, is formulated to help naturally control blood pressure and promote optimal cardiovascular health.
Created with a combination of selected ingredients, such as olive, hibiscus, hawthorn and valerian extracts, in synergy with magnesium, vitamin B1, vitamin D and folate, it can contribute to:
· regulation of blood pressure – both systolic and diastolic

· improving blood lipid profiles (such as LDL cholesterol)

Olive leaf extract /Olea europaea L./
Olive leaves contain powerful health compounds. They are rich in oleuropein, a polyphenol with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antiviral properties. The antioxidant compounds in olive leaf extract may help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals, which can contribute to heart disease.
Hibiscus flower extract /Hibiscus sabdariffa L./
Hibiscus is rich in various polyphenols, in addition to the anthocyanins in its composition. All of these compounds, taken together, may play a role in protecting blood vessels from damage caused by excessive blood sugar or lipids – common in diabetes and metabolic syndrome, which can lead to cardiovascular disease.
Hawthorn flower and leaf extract /Crataegus oxyacantha auct./
Helps improve cardiovascular function. Traditionally used for heart rhythm disorders in adults. The high antioxidant content in hawthorn may help lower blood pressure and cholesterol, reduce inflammation, and improve heart health.
Valerian root extract /Valeriana officinalis L/
The herb exhibits a wide range of biological activities, such as lowering blood pressure and heart rate. It acts as a relaxant on the nervous system. It helps protect against myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury, antiarrhythmia, and helps regulate blood lipid levels.
Vitamin B1, also known as thiamine, is important for heart health. It also plays a role in maintaining healthy ventricular function and may be helpful in heart failure, especially in people using diuretics.
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) helps maintain blood pressure. It may support the health of the cells that make up the heart and blood vessels, as well as help reduce inflammation.
