Meacor is a dietary supplement of concentrated and purified long-chain, polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acids of the EPA and DHA type. They contribute to normal heart function. The beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA. A daily intake of 2 grams of EPA and DHA in adults helps maintain normal triglyceride concentrations in the blood. A daily intake of 3 grams of EPA and DHA helps maintain normal blood pressure.
