Food supplement
Micro-pearl capsules with gradual extended release for complete release
• With all 13 vitamins
• With essential minerals and antioxidants
BIORYTHM® Multivitamins is a multivitamin complex that provides the body's daily needs for vitamins, minerals and micronutrients. BIORYTHM® Multivitamins contains all 13 vitamins and selected minerals and antioxidants in a balanced formula.
The yellow and red micro pearls in the BIORYTHM® Multivitamin capsule are specially designed to ensure the release of the individual ingredients at the right time and place, in sync with our biorhythm. The red pearls dissolve immediately, while the yellow ones dissolve gradually throughout the day. This special technology for gradual and extended release ensures excellent absorption of all important micronutrients throughout the day.
Phase 1: Red micro pearls immediately release fat-soluble vitamins and minerals that are stored in the body.
Phase 2: Yellow micro pearls gradually release water-soluble vitamins and ensure constant bioavailability throughout the day.
What is important to know about vitamins?
Vitamins are organic compounds that are involved in important metabolic processes. Our bodies cannot produce them on their own, so we get them from food.
There are a total of 13 different vitamins that perform different functions in the body. They are divided into fat-soluble and water-soluble vitamins.
Fat-soluble vitamins are absorbed most effectively when taken with fat from food. They are stored in the body and used when needed.
As the name suggests, water-soluble vitamins are released into water and it is important to take them with fluids. Unlike fat-soluble vitamins, water-soluble vitamins are not stored. Our body takes the amounts it needs at the moment and throws out the rest. That is why it is important to take them regularly to maintain our biorhythm.
Role of vitamins:
Vitamin A (retinol) contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes, as well as to normal vision and the function of the immune system. Vitamin A is one of the fat-soluble vitamins and is stored in the body. Therefore, the recommended intake should not be exceeded to avoid overdose. This applies primarily to women during pregnancy.
Vitamin D (cholecalciferol) contributes to the normal absorption of calcium and phosphorus and the maintenance of healthy bones and teeth. It also contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system. The fat-soluble vitamin is produced in the skin when exposed to sunlight. Lower levels of direct sunlight during the winter months affect its production, leading to lower levels of vitamin D.
Vitamin E (tocopherol) contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Vitamin K (phytomenadione) contributes to normal blood clotting and the maintenance of healthy bones. Since the body stores fat-soluble vitamins, the recommended intake of vitamin K should not be exceeded to avoid overdose.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) contributes to the normal function of the immune system, the formation of collagen for the maintenance of the function of blood vessels, bones and cartilage. Vitamin C contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, the normal functioning of the nervous system and the protection of cells from oxidative stress. The water-soluble vitamin is sensitive to light, air and heat.
Vitamin B1 (thiamine) contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, the normal functioning of the nervous system and the heart. Vitamin B1 is one of the water-soluble vitamins, which means that the body can only store a small amount of it.
Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and the normal functioning of the nervous system. It also contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes. As a water-soluble vitamin, only a small amount can be stored in the body.
Vitamin B3 (niacin) contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. It contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and to the maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes. Vitamin B3 is water-soluble. It is produced in the liver from the amino acid tryptophan. The recommended intake of vitamin B3/niacin is often stated as “niacin equivalents” or “NE”. One mg NE is equivalent to 60 mg tryptophan.
Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) is a water-soluble vitamin. It contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism, as well as to normal red blood cell formation. Vitamin B6 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, as well as to normal energy-yielding metabolism and the normal functioning of the nervous system.
Vitamin B9 (folic acid) plays a role in the process of cell division and contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy. It contributes to normal blood formation and normal homocysteine metabolism. The water-soluble vitamin is sensitive to light, air and heat.
Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells and plays a role in the process of cell division. It contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system and energy metabolism. Vitamin B12 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin B12 is the only water-soluble B vitamin that can be stored well in the body (mainly in the liver).
Vitamin B7 (biotin) contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism. In addition, it contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism. The water-soluble vitamin also contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, normal skin and normal mucous membranes.
Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal mental performance. It also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Vitamin B is one of the water-soluble vitamins.
Interesting facts about minerals
Minerals are also essential for many important bodily functions. These include the so-called macronutrients, which are generally present in amounts of > 50 mg/kg in the human body, as well as micronutrients, which are required in smaller amounts. Minerals also need to be regularly consumed through food, which is why a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle are key.
Zinc contributes to the maintenance of healthy skin, hair and nails, as well as the normal function of the immune system.
Manganese contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress and to the maintenance of normal bones. In addition, it contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
Selenium contributes to the normal function of the thyroid gland and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Chromium contributes to maintaining normal blood sugar levels.
Molybdenum contributes to the normal metabolism of sulfur amino acids.
