Steens Honey is made from the blossoms of the manuka myrtle tree (Leptospermum scoparium) and is a superfood that helps boost immunity. It is produced in New Zealand, is unpasteurized and minimally processed. Thanks to a unique extraction technology, the honey retains all the qualities of fresh honeycomb, including the bioavailable and nutrient-rich "bee bread" (pollen used as food by bees). Its origin is guaranteed by the traceability code printed on the label of the jar, which can be used to determine exactly which hive it was obtained from. Unlike most bee products, which lose their antibacterial properties when exposed to light and heat, manuka honey retains them. This is called UMF (Unique Manuka Factor) and the higher it is, the stronger the qualities of the honey.

Reception:
It can be consumed directly, 1-2 teaspoons daily, added as a sweetener to tea, smoothies, yogurt or morning cereal, mixed with ginger and lemon to boost immunity, or taken with apple cider vinegar.
