Properties of the ingredients: SWP Esentin Buvabil contains essential phospholipids, liposomal glutathione, choline and silymarin Phytosome®. The combination of essential phospholipids with silymarin has the advantage of contributing to the absorption and bioavailability of silymarin. Phosphatidylcholine (one of the phospholipids) is a major component of biological membranes. It is composed of phosphorus derivatives that provide energy and are essential for the metabolism and structure of membranes, which explains their fundamental role in many biological processes, including the formation and stabilization of cells and mitochondria. The liver is a vital organ that performs multiple functions, including the conversion of food into energy, the production of bile for digestion and the elimination of residual and toxic substances from the blood. Its activity is closely related to the rate of metabolic exchange, which in turn is influenced by the composition of membrane phospholipids and their fatty acid content. Glutathione is a tripeptide (composed of 3 amino acids: cysteine, glycine and glutamic acid) that is particularly concentrated in the liver, playing an important role in redox processes. Since glutathione is very easily degraded, the use of liposomal glutathione is preferable to increase its stability, absorption rate and bioavailability. Choline contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function and normal lipid metabolism. Silymarin is composed of a mixture of flavonoids, mainly composed of silybin, silydianin and silychristin. Silymarin helps maintain liver health and supports its detoxification potential. Silymarin Phytosome® is a combination of lecithin and silymarin, whose role is to optimize its bioabsorption.
