Liposomal forms: better efficacy, stability and gastrointestinal tolerability
Liposomes are microscopic spheres similar to cell membranes, whose structure protects vitamins from chemical and physical degradation by light, air, and high temperature, as well as from the aggressive environment of the gastrointestinal tract. This allows for enhanced absorption and delivery of nutrients to target tissues. In addition, they can be designed to release their contents at a specific time or location, which improves the effectiveness of vitamins and reduces the need for frequent or high dosages (Chaves et al., 2023).
Liposomal technology is often cited as “the future of pharmacy” as it provides significantly higher efficacy, stability, and bioavailability. It is one of the most promising solutions for improving the bioavailability of active ingredients, especially those that are poorly soluble in water (Hsu et al., 2019).
The Liposovit® vitamins in Uriml Forte Max Liposomes use advanced dehydrated liposome technology, which further increases their stability. This factor eliminates the need to maintain low temperatures during transportation and storage (Shukla et al., 2017).
Liposovit® does not contain GMOs or allergens. The manufacturing process completely eliminates alcohol and other organic solvents, as well as the need to add preservatives, making the product safer for people with intolerances.
Uridine and cytidine
Uridine and cytidine are biologically active substances that belong to the group of pyrimidine nucleotides. As building blocks, they participate in the structure of nucleic acids (RNA and DNA) and have key roles in the construction and metabolism of the nervous system.
In Urimil Forte Max Liposomes we find uridine and cytidine in the maximum concentration for the Urimil series, supplemented with specially selected vitamins and magnesium, which play an important role in the complex effect of the formula.
Liposomal vitamin B1 (thiamine)
Vitamin B1 contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, is important for normal heart function and helps with normal metabolism and energy production.
Liposomal Vitamin B3 (Niacin)
It contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, reduces the feeling of fatigue and tiredness and helps maintain normal mental function.
Liposovit® B6
It contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, the normal synthesis of cysteine and the metabolism of homocysteine, participates in the regulation of hormonal activity and in the maintenance of immune function.
Liposomal vitamin B9 (folic acid)
Folic acid participates in the process of cell division and in the synthesis of amino acids, and supports the normal function of the immune system.
Liposovit® B12
Liposovit® B12 is a liposomal vitamin B12 in the form of biologically active methylcobalamin (MeCbl). Its encapsulation increases its bioavailability and functional activity, contributing to the proper functioning of peripheral nerves and immunity, as well as reducing fatigue and exhaustion.
Magnesium
Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance, which is essential for the overall homeostasis of the body. The mineral participates in the process of cell division and protein synthesis, which are crucial for the initial formation of tissues and subsequent repair processes in them. Liposovit® D3
Liposomal vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) in Liposovit® D3 has been shown to be significantly more effective in increasing blood levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D in healthy adults compared to the conventional form. A pilot clinical study showed an 82.4% higher relative increase in circulating levels of 25(OH)D. Liposovit® D3 supports bone and tooth health, normal muscle function and immunity.
Contraindications: Do not use during pregnancy, breastfeeding. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. The product is intended for consumption by persons over 18 years of age.
Warnings: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use the food supplement as a substitute for a varied diet. Keep out of the reach of small children.
