Neolexan SR is recommended for people with low serotonin levels, people on diets or people who are trying to quit smoking, alcohol and other harmful habits. Neolexan SR is effective in conditions of depression, nervousness, anxiety, panic, restlessness, addictions, fibromyalgia, as well as in people on anti-Parkinson therapy. 5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is an amino acid that the brain converts into serotonin ("happiness hormone"). Reduced levels of serotonin in the brain lead to depression, headaches, muscle pain, uncontrollable hunger, obesity, insomnia, cravings for sweets and more. 5-Hydroxytryptophan increases serotonin levels in the brain, helps maintain psycho-emotional balance, reduces the feeling of melancholy, reduces depression and counteracts states of panic and anxiety. It also helps to achieve healthy, long-lasting and quality sleep. 5-Hydroxytryptophan reduces the appetite for sweets and simple carbohydrates, which gradually leads to a decrease in body weight. Neolexan CP is in the form of extended-release tablets.

Composition:
Each tablet of Neolexan SR 150 mg contains 150 mg of 5-hydroxytryptophan.
The other ingredients of the tablet are microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, povidone, magnesium stearate and film.

Note: Do not stop taking the drug after you feel better without consulting your doctor. The maximum daily dose of Neolexan should not exceed 900 mg.

1 tablet twice a day
