Butirrisan® contains the unique strain Clostridium butyricum CBM588® (isolated in Japan in 1933) – a new generation probiotic, the ONLY one that stimulates the production of butyrate in the colon.
Proven effective in patients with IBS, IBS-D (Irritable Bowel Syndrome with Diarrhea), diverticula, and Helicobacter Pylori.
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) includes a group of functional bowel disorders, recurrent abdominal pain associated with defecation, or a change in its rhythm (constipation, diarrhea, alternating constipation with diarrhea), as well as other signs of impaired defecation (abdominal bloating).
