I. WHAT IS GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT THE PROSTATE?
The prostate is an important part of the male genitourinary system and is a chestnut-shaped gland that produces a special secretion involved in the composition of seminal fluid. It is located at the base of the bladder and the urinary channel passes through it, so its shape and volume are important for the urination process. With advancing age, the prostate undergoes significant changes - in children it is a small body, mainly of muscle tissue, which gradually grows until it reaches a volume of 20-30 ml. This usually happens by a man's twentieth birthday, when the prostate stops growing. After the age of fifty, in some men the prostate begins to grow again as a result of a process called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). BPH is a benign growth of prostate tissue that increases its volume. Along with the growth, nodules are formed in the prostate tissue, which change its shape. Due to its specific location, when it enlarges, it presses and narrows the urinary channel, which leads to difficulties in urinating.
The causes of BPH are not fully understood. Chronic inflammation, changes in sex hormone balance, etc. are believed to be triggering factors.
Symptoms of BPH include difficulty urinating, thinning of the stream, a feeling of not emptying the bladder, frequent urination at night, sudden urges to urinate in some cases accompanied by discharge.
As BPH progresses, the quality of life of men with an enlarged prostate gradually deteriorates, so prostate health is of utmost importance.

III. HOW DOES REVERTA® WORK?
The active substances in Reverta® act synergistically to maintain the volume of the prostate within normal physiological limits and have a beneficial effect on the health and normal functioning of the male genitourinary system.
Graminex G63 standardized pollen extract maintains the levels of enzymes and arachidonic acid in normal physiological values and has a beneficial effect on the volume and functioning of the prostate.
The standardized extract of Urtica dioica maintains the natural hormonal balance in the prostate tissue, which creates favorable conditions for maintaining the size of the prostate within physiological limits. Along with this, it has a positive effect on libido, erectile ability and sexual function.
The standardized extract of saw palmetto has a beneficial effect on the physiological processes related to the act of urination, especially at night, and contributes to comfort during sleep.
The standardized extract of Pygeum africanum supports the natural elasticity of the prostate and helps to preserve the physiological tone of its smooth muscles. It maintains the size of the prostate within normal physiological limits and has a beneficial effect on the fertility and sexual function of men.
Lycopene from tomato extract has powerful antioxidant activity and controls growth factors in the prostate, having a beneficial effect on its health.
Zinc is an important component of prostatic fluid. Normal prostate epithelial cells were found to accumulate significantly higher levels of zinc than other cells. High levels of zinc contribute to their normal division and support their normal life cycle.
Selenium is a basic structural element of the antioxidant enzymes in the prostate, which neutralize free radicals and have a beneficial effect on its health. Selenium also plays an important role in the life cycle of sperm and is rightly believed to be a key factor in maintaining normal male fertility and libido.
