Purpose:

Turmeric:
Turmeric is a commonly used spice in Eastern cuisine. It has been used in India for centuries - at least 2,500 years.
It has a number of positive health properties.
The active ingredient in turmeric is called curcumin. It is known to scientists for its strong anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
