Read the entire leaflet carefully as it contains important information for you.
This medicine is available without a prescription. However, it is necessary to use Vicks Anti-Flu Complex carefully in order to have the best results from treatment with it.
Ask your pharmacist if you need more information or advice.
You should contact your doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days.
If any of the side effects become serious or you notice other side effects not described in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.

Vix Anti-Flu Complex is designed to relieve cold and flu symptoms. It contains three active ingredients:

Paracetamol is a well-known pain reliever (analgesic). It is effective against pain, including headaches and sore throats, and can also reduce fever (antipyretic);
guaifenesin (as an expectorant) thins secretions, which helps relieve a chesty cough;
phenylephrine hydrochloride (nasal decongestant) reduces swelling of the nasal passages and thus relieves nasal congestion.

You should only use Vicks Anti-Flu Complex if you have pain and/or high fever, nasal congestion and chesty cough.

Do not take Vicks AntiFlu Complex:

if you are allergic to paracetamol, guaifenesin, phenylephrine hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients.
if you have heart disease;
if you have high blood pressure (hypertension);
if you have a liver problem or severe kidney disease;
if you have an overactive thyroid gland;
if you are diabetic;
if you have glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye) of the narrow-angle type;
if you have porphyria, which is an inherited disorder characterized by an excessive amount of pigments in the urine;
if you are taking tricyclic antidepressants;
if you are taking beta-blockers;
if you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) - used to treat depression or Parkinson's disease or have taken them in the last 14 days;
if you are taking medicines to lower blood pressure or to treat angina pectoris.

Do not give Vix AntiFlu Complex to children under 12 years of age.

Important: contains paracetamol. Do not take at the same time as other products that contain paracetamol.
Immediate medical attention should be sought in the event of an overdose, even when feeling well, because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage. Do not take at the same time as other flu, cold or stuffy nose products.

if you have a problem with liver functions;
