1. What Magnerich is and what it is used for
Magnesium is a physiological calcium antagonist. It participates in the exchange of hydrocarbons, proteins, fats and nucleic acids, energy processes, conducting nervous excitation. It participates in the contraction of the heart muscle and suppresses neuromuscular transmission.
Magneric is applied:
for the treatment of conditions associated with established magnesium deficiency, which are manifested by any of the following symptoms: muscle cramps (muscle cramps), paresthesias (numbness and tingling);
for concomitant treatment in stable angina (chest pain) and rhythm disorders;
for the treatment of magnesium deficiency in pregnant women (especially in threatened abortions and premature births);
for the prevention of:
hypomagnesemia in patients who are treated with diuretics (loop and thiazide diuretics);
preeclampsia and eclampsia in pregnancy (complications of pregnancy).
2. What you need to know before you use Magnerich
Do not use Magneric if:
• hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in point 6);
• severe renal failure (creatinine clearance below 30 ml/min)
• calcium-magnesium-ammonium-phosphate lithiasis diet;
• AV block III degree;
• myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness).
Warnings and precautions
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Magneric if:
you have a narrowing or obstruction of the bowels;
you have kidney problems
If after one month of treatment you do not feel an improvement, your doctor will re-evaluate the treatment.
Children
The medicinal form is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
Other drugs and Magnerich
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.
Your doctor should know if you are taking:
medicinal products containing iron;
tetracyclics (antibiotics);
sodium fluoride (used to prevent caries);
calcium and calcium salts;
quinidine (used to restore heart rhythm);
sedatives (calming);
analgesics (pain relievers);
narcotics (very strong painkillers);
laxative (loosening) products;
anesthetics (sedatives);
muscle relaxants (muscle relaxants);
bisphosphonates (used for bone problems in malignant diseases);
quinolones (antibacterial agents).
Magnerich with food, drinks and alcohol
Alcohol promotes the excretion of magnesium and makes it difficult for the body to absorb it, so it should be avoided during treatment with Magnerich.
Pregnancy, lactation and fertility
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
There are no risks when applying Magneric in the recommended doses during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The product is used in certain conditions during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Driving and using machines
The product does not affect the ability to drive and operate machinery.
Magneric contains wheat starch
It is suitable for people with celiac disease (gluten enteropathy). Patients with a wheat allergy (other than celiac disease) should not take this product.
3. How to take Magnerich
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Dosage
The dosage of the product depends on the degree of magnesium deficiency.
Adults
The recommended dose is 2 tablets 3 times a day for one week; then switch to 2-3 tablets daily.
Substitute treatment of magnesium deficiency in pregnant women - 1 tablet per day; in case of threatening abortions and premature births - 2 tablets 1 to 3 times a day.
For prevention of preeclampsia and eclampsia (mild forms) - 2-3 tablets daily.
Children over 6 years: 10-30 mg/kg divided into three doses daily.
Application method
Taking the product should last at least 6 weeks. Magnerich can be used for a long time. It is best to swallow the tablets with some liquid.

If you have taken more than the required dose of Magnerich
If you take more than the prescribed dose, immediately seek help from a doctor!
In case of an overdose, symptoms such as: nausea, vomiting, lethargy (decreased level of consciousness accompanied by apathy and drowsiness), lack of urine output, constipation, respiratory depression and cardiac symptoms such as abnormal heart rhythm) are observed, as and a curare-like effect on neuromuscular conduction (interruption of nerve impulses to muscles, causing them to stop functioning).
4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
When taking high doses, the appearance of mushy stools or diarrhea can be observed, which disappear when the dose is reduced.

5. How to store Magnerich
To be stored below 25°C.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the pack. The expiration date corresponds to the last day of the specified month.
Do not dispose of medicines down the drain or in the household waste container. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.
6. Contents of the package and additional information
The active substance is: magnesium DL-aspartate tetrahydrate 500 mg equivalent to 34 mg (1.4 mmol) magnesium.
The other ingredients are: wheat starch, microcrystalline cellulose, copovidone, crospovidone, talc, gelatin, magnesium stearate.
What Magneric looks like and contents of the pack
Round, biconvex tablets with a diameter of 13 mm and a white or almost white color.
Packs of 30 or 60 tablets. 10 tablets in a PVC/aluminum foil blister. 3 blisters in a package.
