What Acyclostad is and what it is used for
Acyclovir is a medicine used to treat viral infections (antiviral medicine).
Acyclostad is used:
For the relief of pain and itching in frequently recurring herpes infections with the formation of
blisters on and around the lips (recurrent herpes labialis).
Warnings and precautions:
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Acyclostad. You should not use the cream on mucous membranes (e.g. in the mouth, eyes, vagina) to avoid local irritation.
