Kadermin spray is a medical device with a powder formula that creates a protective barrier, an adjuvant for the treatment of wounds, abrasions, minor burns and skin lesions, especially in the presence of exuding wounds. The spray forms a protective film with a barrier effect, thus creating an environment protected from microbacterial aggressions and helping to restore normal physiological conditions beneficial for the spontaneous regeneration of the skin. The barrier function is achieved by combining kaolin with hyaluronic acid, since both have a specific action - kaolin acts as an absorbent material in the case of exuding wounds, while the moisturizing action of hyaluronic acid acts as a film-forming polymer and helps to hydrate tissues. The SCX powder complex consists of silica functionalized with silver ions and chlorhexidine - it is included in the barrier created by kaolin and hyaluronic acid.
