Antioxidant lubricant ophthalmic solution
Lumixa is an antioxidant and lubricating ophthalmic solution without preservatives, based on cross-linked hyaluronic acid, liposomes and crocin .
Cross-linked hyaluronic acid is a cross-linked form of sodium hyaluronate created to achieve more viscoelasticity and stability of the molecule. Cross-linked sodium hyaluronate ensures better hydration and longer presence on the eye surface. Thanks to the synergistic action between cross-linked sodium hyaluronate and liposomes, LUMIXA is suitable for all types of dry eye caused by a decrease in the aqueous component of tears or increased evaporation of the aqueous component of tears. The antioxidant activity of crocin allows to reduce damage to the ocular surface caused by free radicals in cases of:
- Dry eye
- Mechanical damage (ophthalmic diagnostic or surgical procedures, eye injuries)
- Eye load from environmental factors (air conditioning, dry or polluted air, high temperatures, etc.)
- Increased load on the eye (prolonged work with a computer, unfavorable lighting, etc.)
Indications :
Symptomatic treatment of dry eye symptoms. It is also suitable for corneal protection as a substitute for tears after eye surgery, eye trauma or in cases of eye strain from adverse environmental or other factors - prolonged work with a computer, unfavorable lighting, etc. Lumixa can be used with contact lenses.
How to use ?
Put one or two drops in each eye several times a day or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Composition
0.15% cross-linked hyaluronic acid sodium salt, liposomes, crocin, EDTA disodium salt, isotonic solution (pH 7.2)
Warnings:
Before using the product, wash your hands thoroughly;
Do not use the product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients;
Close the package tightly after use;
Do not use the drops after their expiration date;
Use the product within 90 days after opening the package;
Keep away from heat sources and children;
Do not swallow or use if package is damaged;
In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use and contact a physician;
Be careful not to get the tip of the vial in your eyes.
