Fitonasal Pediatric is a medical product - an innovative decongestant, created specifically for cleaning the nose in case of congestion and inflammation, due to colds, flu conditions, sinusitis and allergic rhinitis - both chronic and acute.
It works thanks to the natural molecular complex TANNISAL, containing rock salt and tannins. It interacts effectively with the nasal mucosa and has:
1. Decongestant action with a dual non-pharmacological mechanism
Precipitation of bradykinin: the tannins contained in the spray bind to this mediator of inflammation, reducing nasal congestion;
Balanced and standardized osmosis (600 mOsm/kg): contributes to the reduction of edema in the tissues without irritating and drying the mucous membrane.
2. Protective action: normalizes the condition of the nasal mucosa, thanks to the adhesion of the active substances and their effective antioxidant action.
The product, thanks to the continuous aerosol jet, deeply cleans the nasal cavities, removing excess mucus and pathogenic allergenic and irritating agents (viruses, bacteria, smoke, smog, pollen, etc. substances). This action is extremely useful for infants who cannot blow their nose on their own, as well as for children who do not blow their nose properly.
Because of these characteristics, Fitonasal Pediatric is particularly suitable in cases of cough caused by nasal secretions running down the throat. In practice, the stagnation of mucus in the nasal cavities and the presence of allergenic substances and microorganisms can lead to coughing and other problems, such as sore throat and otitis media.
Fitonasal Pediatric does not contain vasoconstrictor decongestants. It has an innovative non-pharmacological mechanism of action. It does not dry out the nasal mucosa and does not lead to habituation. It does not cause irritation and can be used frequently, even for a longer period of time. Its use in infants and children improves breathing and has a beneficial effect on night sleep.
The medical device is available in the form of a spray bottle, manufactured using the "bag on valve" (BOV) technology, which accounts for its efficacy and which is distinguished by a number of advantages:

Composition:
Active substances: TANNISAL - a natural standardized molecular complex containing tannin fraction from witch hazel and rock salt (fossil salt, not chemically treated).

Method of use:
Use at least 2 times a day, morning and evening as needed.
For effective decongestant action and protection of the mucous membrane, please observe the following instructions:
For children from 6 months to 1 year:
Place the child lying on his side.
Place the nozzle in the upper nostril and spray.
Repeat the procedure for the other nostril, placing the child on the other side first.
For children over 1 year:
Insert the tip into the nostril and press gently for a few seconds.
Clean the nose, blow it and repeat the procedure for the other nostril.
Rinse the dispenser after each use with a stream of hot water. The product is equipped with a comfortable tip, suitable even for the nose of the smallest.
