With its active substance, ibuprofen 200 mg helps reduce inflammation and relieves pain for 8 hours, e.g. tension headaches, migraines or back pain.
Nurofen is effective in relieving pain and/or inflammation associated with:
Migraine headache
Menstrual pains
Toothache
Fever
Muscular and rheumatic pains
Neuralgia
Headache
Cold and flu aches
KEY INGREDIENTS
Ibuprofen 200 mg | Contains sucrose
OPINION:
To be taken with water.
For adults and children over 12 years: first 2 tablets, then 1 or 2 tablets every 4 hours, as needed. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.
Do not give Nurofen tablets to children under 12 years of age. Nurofen products for children are available.
THE MAXIMUM DOSE IN 24 HOURS
Maximum 6 tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen) within 24 hours
BEFORE USE:
Consult your doctor if:
You have asthma or are taking other medicines containing ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid or other anti-inflammatory medicines.
You take medication regularly
DO NOT USE
If the blister foil is torn when first opened.
If you have a stomach ulcer or other stomach disorder, kidney or heart problems.
If you are allergic to ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid or other anti-inflammatory medicines. If you experience an allergic reaction, stop taking and consult your doctor immediately.
During the first 6 months of pregnancy, except on the recommendation of your doctor. Do not use at all during the last 3 months of pregnancy.
More than 3 consecutive days, unless advised by your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Excessive use can be harmful.
