Nurofen 200 mg medicated patch is indicated for short-term symptomatic treatment of local pain in acute muscle strains or sprains in minor injuries near the joint of the upper or lower limb in adults and adolescents aged 16 years and over.
- Effectively treats back pain, muscle or joint pain for 24 hours
- The patch is applied whole and should not be cut.

Nurofen 200 mg. medicated patch is flexible and adaptable, releasing ibuprofen locally continuously for 24 hours after application. Nurofen medicated patch is applied directly to the skin to relieve muscle pain arising from minor trauma and to ensure continuous transfer of ibuprofen through the skin, directly to the site of pain and inflammation.
Each medicated patch contains 200 mg ibuprofen.

Apply to clean and healthy skin, over the entire area of the patch.
Pooled data from two clinical trials of efficacy and safety in adults with acute soft tissue injuries showed that when applied once every 24 hours, the medicated patch provided sustained pain relief, with a statistically significant reduction in pain on movement compared to a placebo patch from the second hour after the first dose and each subsequent period for 5 days.
