Omalgin is a medicinal product containing metamizole, which has a pronounced analgesic effect and reduces high fever. It is used for the short-term treatment and management of moderate to severe pain of various origins in adults and children over 10 years of age:
headache, including migraine;
toothache, including after dental operations;
neuralgia, neuritis, muscle pain;
trauma, burns, postoperative and phantom (sensation of pain at the site of an absent limb) pain;
painful menstruation;
pain in malignant diseases;
biliary and renal colic;
Omalgin is used as an antipyretic in the complex therapy of conditions accompanied by high fever that does not respond to other treatment.
Active ingredients:
The active substance in 1 tablet is metamizole sodium monohydrate 500 mg.
