Saridon for headache, toothache, malaise and menstrual pain x 10 tablets, Bayer
Saridon is an analgesic. It is intended for the treatment of headache, toothache, menstrual discomfort, rheumatic and post-operative pain. Saridon lowers the temperature and relieves cold pain.
Application:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
For adults, the recommended dose is: 1-2 tablets.
Use in children over 12 years of age: the daily recommended dose is 1 tablet.
If needed, you can take up to three single doses within 24 hours.
Take the tablets with a sufficient amount of water or other liquid. Stick to the dose marked on the package or prescribed by the doctor. If you think that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor. Do not take Saridon in doses higher than indicated in this leaflet. As with other analgesics, Saridon should not be used regularly for a long period of time unless you are under medical supervision.
The active substances are: paracetamol, propyphenazone and caffeine.
One tablet contains 250 mg of paracetamol, 150 mg of propifenazone and 50 mg of caffeine as medicinal substances.

Precautions:
Do not take Saridon:
- if you are allergic to any of the active substances (paracetamol, propifenazone, caffeine) or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
- if you are allergic to pyrazolones or similar substances (products containing acetylsalicylic acid, phenazone, propifenazone, aminophenazone, metamizole);
- if you are allergic to products that contain phenylbutazone or acetylsalicylic acid;
- if you suffer from hereditary glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (proven by hemolytic anemia);
- if you have acute hepatic porphyria.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking Saridon:
- if you have impaired liver function (for example, in cases of chronic alcohol abuse or hepatitis);
- if you have impaired kidney function;
- if you suffer from Gilbert's syndrome (benign jaundice of varying intensity);
- if you have hematopoietic dysfunction.
If you carry out treatment with Saridon and other analgesics containing paracetamol for a long period of time, you may experience kidney damage.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should not take Saridon unless you have the express permission of a doctor.
