3. Keep the thermometer away from children.
4. Children and people with disabilities must be supervised by an adult or medical staff during the entire temperature recording process.
5. A thermometer with a damaged outer casing should not be used due to the risk of injury.
6. The thermometer is only used for monitoring body temperature. If you find any abnormal body temperature, please consult your doctor immediately.
Instructions for use
1. Before measuring, check that the liquid column (metal fluid) of the glass thermometer is below 36°C.
2. Clean the glass thermometer with 75% alcohol concentration before and after use.
3. Place the tip of the thermometer in the selected body part – oral, axillary (under the arm) or rectal.
4. It takes 6 /six/ minutes to accurately measure the temperature. The temperature is determined on a graduated scale from 35°C to 42°C. Visualization of the scale bar is achieved by slightly tilting the thermometer while holding it horizontally.
5. When you have finished measuring, the measuring liquid should return to the bottom of the scale. To achieve this, hold the thermometer by its upper part and shake it 5-12 times with sharp movements of the wrist, so that it reaches a level below 36°C.
