FORTEX FEMIFLORA rapid recovery of the vaginal mucosa x 10 vag glob
The main ingredient is hyaluronic acid, which is a natural building block of the human body. Hyaluronic acid binds water to form a viscoelastic membrane-matrix on the surface of the vaginal mucosa. It therefore forms a protective matrix on the mucosa and helps restore natural moisture. In this way, it can significantly affect the elasticity of the tissues and support the natural healing process.
Indications:
Vaginal suppositories with hyaluronic acid are indicated for improving vaginal dryness:
- in postmenopausal women with established vaginal atrophy and symptoms of irritation, itching and pain during intercourse (dyspareunia),
- in premenopausal women after recent genital surgery predisposing to dyspareunia,
- in women with dystrophy of the vaginal mucosa due to ionizing radiation, cryoablation, chemotherapy, corticosteroids, oral contraceptives, or other medical intervention.
Vaginal suppositories with hyaluronic acid are used as a supporting factor for the recovery procedures of atrophic and dystrophic conditions of the vaginal mucosa. They facilitate the care of wounds after childbirth, during vaginal surgeries, after cryoablation, in dystrophies after chemotherapy with ionizing radiation - laser, in senile dryness, in estrogen deficiency due to natural menopause, but also due to menopause caused by medical reasons, such as hysterectomy, oophorectomy, as well as long-term use of corticosteroids and oral contraceptives.
Application of the medical device and duration of use:
The duration of use is usually 30 days, but may be extended depending on the condition and the instructions of the doctor or pharmacist.
Hyaluronate suppositories are intended for topical application to the vagina when needed. The duration of use cannot be easily determined. In patients undergoing radiation, use will continue in parallel with radiotherapy, usually for a short period. In premenopausal women with recent genital surgery, use will be temporary, depending on the progress of healing.
Postmenopausal women with vaginal atrophy and dryness, due to low levels of endogenous estrogens, are more likely to apply the medical device systematically, although even in these cases use may be intermittent, depending on their sexual life. In both cases, hyaluronic acid is a physiological component of the human body that does not raise serious concerns about toxicity.
Contraindications:
Known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Interactions with other drugs or vaginal medical devices are not known.
Dosage/Application:
Use one vaginal suppository each evening, inserted deeply intravaginally or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
