Mode of action:

Bacterial vaginosis is an imbalance between the different bacteria in the vaginal flora. During this disease, the amount of anaerobic bacteria that cause unpleasant symptoms increases significantly, while the beneficial lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus, necessary to maintain the physiological acidic pH of the vagina (pH < 4.5), decreases. The reduced amount of lactic acid bacteria can also increase the growth of blastomyces (mostly from the Candida albicans group), which causes fungal diseases of the vagina.
The medical device Intimohelp restores and maintains the physiological pH of the vagina, thus suppressing the spread of bacteria causing bacterial vaginosis and Candida blastomyces. The added inulin supports the growth of natural bacterial flora, which plays an important role in preventing the spread of bacteria causing infections of the genitourinary system. The action of Intimohelp is complemented by the presence of hyaluronic acid and vitamin E, which moisturize the vaginal mucosa, relieve itching, dryness and a feeling of tension and reduce susceptibility to microtrauma.

Instructions for use:
For vaginal use only.
Wash your hands thoroughly before inserting the vaginal tablets.
As an aid in the treatment of vaginosis:
Use 1 vaginal tablet once daily (at bedtime) for 7 to 10 days, inserted deep into the vagina.
Preventive:
Use 1 vaginal tablet twice a week. The tablet should be inserted deep into the vagina. If symptoms worsen or persist for more than 7-10 days while using Intimohelp, you should contact your doctor.
Possible side effects:
Rarely, a burning sensation may occur in the vagina.
