What is histamine?
Histamine is a mediator of inflammatory processes in allergic reactions. It is produced by our body, but is also taken in with food. It is contained in large quantities in products that ripen or age for a long time, such as cheeses, sausages, pickles, canned goods, red wine. In case of deficiency of the enzyme diamine oxidase, responsible for the breakdown of histamine from food in the intestine, histamine can pass into the bloodstream and cause unpleasant reactions such as gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, rashes, stuffy nose, etc.
What is DAOSIN and how does the product work?
DAOSIN is a dietary supplement that contains the enzyme diamine oxidase (DAO). It supplements our body's own DAO and helps it break down histamine from food in the intestines. This prevents histamine from entering the bloodstream from food.
How is DAOSIN taken?
The diamine oxidase enzyme contained in Daozin must reach the intestines before eating, so take 1 tablet of Daozin 15 minutes before a meal containing histamine. The tablet is taken whole, with water and not chewed. The maximum daily dose is 3 tablets per day, corresponding to 3 histamine-containing meals.
