KELOTAN® GEL is a silicone gel for topical application that is used to manage old and new hypertrophic and keloid scars resulting from surgical procedures, injuries, wounds and burns.
What can Kelotan® gel be used for?
• Prevents the formation of hypertrophic and keloid scars
• Softens and smoothes raised scars
• Reduces redness
• Relieves itching and discomfort
COMPOSITION:
Decamethyl cyclopentasiloxane, isopropyl myristate, silicone elastomer gel.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Apply a thin layer of Kelotan® gel to cleansed and dry skin on the affected area twice daily. Once dry, you can cover with a compression bandage, sunscreen or cosmetics. If the area has not dried within 4-5 minutes, you have probably used more of the product than necessary.
Carefully remove excess and let dry.
The recommended duration of treatment is 60-90 days. For larger or older scars, treatment may take longer.
To prevent hypertrophic scars and keloids, apply Kelotan gel immediately after the wound heals or the stitches are removed.
For external use only.
WARNINGS:
Avoid direct contact with eyes, mucous membranes, third degree burns and open wounds. Keep out of reach of children.
