GENGIGEL is a medical device containing high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (in the form of sodium hyaluronate), obtained through a biotechnological production process that guarantees High purity. Its formula is specially designed to mimic the hyaluronic acid found normally in the gums. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring component of connective tissue (especially the gums) where it has an anti-inflammatory and tissue-restorative effect, the physico-chemical properties of hyaluronic acid make it possible to explain its anti-inflammatory properties. Hyaluronic acid is found in connective tissue throughout the body. Its concentration is especially high in the outermost layers of the gums, where it performs both a protective and healing function in relation to the periodontal ligaments. The presence of hyaluronic acid is particularly important for maintaining the strength of the gums.
In gum diseases (Inflammatory conditions, gum pockets, wounds, etc.) the need for hyaluronic acid increases to a significant extent (up to 200% compared to the basic level), which is due to its specific role in the regulation of cellular reorganization and optimization of local tissue regeneration. GENGIGEL® is particularly suitable when topical anti-inflammatory agents are contraindicated. Since it contains xylitol, a natural sweetener that does not cause the development of caries and significant variations in the blood sugar level, the preparation can be used by diabetics.
It does not have any unknown interactions, so it can be used safely during specific therapy, such as an antibiotic.
Indications:
inflammatory diseases / gingivitis, bleeding from the gums, gum pockets), post-traumatic conditions of the gums (abrasion, tooth extractions, postoperative conditions and others), as well as such diseases in which the mucous membrane of the gums requires an increased concentration of hyaluronic acid.
Method of use:
After oral hygiene, topically three to five times a day (after meals) for three to four weeks, without interruption until all symptoms disappear.
Gel:
Apply a small amount of the gel to the affected area and massage gently with a clean finger so that the amount is spread evenly over the surface.
Liquid:
Rinse the mouth with 10 ml (one dose) for 1-2 min. The solution is for direct use, do not dilute.
Spray:
Each injection guarantees uniform and homogeneous distribution on the surface of the gum, 1 or 2 injections on the inflamed or traumatized area. Hold the vial vertically.
