RESELIGO contains a medicine called goserelin. It belongs to a group of medicines called “LHRH analogues”. Use of RESELIGO in men RESELIGO is used to treat prostate cancer. It works by reducing the amount of “testosterone” (a hormone) your body makes. Use of RESELIGO in women RESELIGO is used to: -Treat breast cancer. -Treat a condition called “endometriosis”. A condition in which cells normally found only in the lining of the womb are found in other places in your body (usually in organs near the womb). -Treat benign growths in the womb called “uterine fibroids”. -Thinning the lining of the womb before surgery on the womb. -As an aid in the treatment of infertility (in combination with other medicines). It helps to control the release of eggs from the ovaries. In women, RESELIGO works by reducing the amount of "oestrogen" (a hormone) your body produces. Goserelin (as acetate) 3.6 mg
