BIO-OIL against scars and stretch marks 200ml
Bio-Oil's formula combines plant extracts and vitamins in an oil medium. It contains the revolutionary ingredient PurCellin Oil™, which improves the density of the formula, making it light, non-greasy and ensuring good penetration of vitamins and plant extracts into the skin. Bio-Oil is used for scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, withered and dehydrated skin, skin with uneven complexion.
• Scars: They are an integral part of the wound healing process and result from the overproduction of collagen at the site of the wound. Scars may change over time but never completely disappear. Bio-Oil is designed to improve the appearance of scarred skin but cannot completely remove it. Bio-Oil should be applied twice daily, in a circular motion over the scar, for a minimum of 3 months. Only apply Bio-Oil to new scars once the wound has healed. Do not use on broken skin. Results vary from person to person.
• Stretch marks: When the body expands faster than the skin covering it, in places the skin tears from the excessive stretching, forming a scar as it heals. These scars remain on the surface of the skin in the form of stretch marks. The tendency to develop stretch marks varies depending on skin type, race, age, diet and hydration level. Pregnant women, people involved in bodybuilding, adolescents during growth spurts and people with sudden weight changes are more prone to stretch marks.
• Uneven skin tone: Skin pigmentation is the result of uneven melanin production. It can be caused by external factors, such as excessive sun exposure or the use of low-quality bleaching products, or internal causes: such as hormonal changes associated with pregnancy, menopause or the use of oral contraceptives. Bio-Oil helps improve the appearance of skin pigmentation and evens out the complexion. Bio Oil is applied twice a day, in circular motions, for a minimum of 3 months. Bio-Oil does not contain a sunscreen. Apply sunscreen only after Bio-Oil has been fully absorbed by the skin. The effect is individual.
• Aging Skin: Wrinkles that appear with age are usually caused by the weakening of collagen and elastin fibers in the skin. Bio-Oil contains numerous ingredients that help maintain the youthful appearance of skin by making it softer, smoother, more elastic and reducing wrinkles. Bio-Oil hydrates, which improves texture, complexion and visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Bio-Oil is applied twice daily to the affected areas of the skin. The effect is individual.
• Dehydrated skin: The surface of the skin has an invisible oily layer that acts as a barrier and retains moisture inside. In very dry climates, this lipid layer often cannot cope and much of the moisture evaporates from the skin. Daily bathing worsens this condition and destroys the lipid layer under the drying effect of soap and water. Bio-Oil supplies the skin with the necessary substances to restore the lipid layer and retain moisture.
Bio-Oil is manufactured to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards as set by the World Health Organization. All ingredients are tested for purity and microbiological contamination prior to production and a sample of each batch produced is laboratory tested and then retained for monitoring for a period of 5 years. It is available in a convenient 200 ml bottle.
