The Bio-Oil formula combines plant extracts and vitamins in an oil medium. It contains the revolutionary ingredient PurCellin Oil™, which improves the density of the formula, making it light, non-greasy and ensures the good penetration of vitamins and plant extracts into the skin. Bio oil is applied to scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, withered and dehydrated skin, skin with an uneven complexion.
• Scars: They are an integral part of the wound healing process and result from the overproduction of collagen at the site of the wound. Scars may change over time, but they never disappear completely. Bio-Oil is designed to improve the appearance of scarred skin, but cannot completely remove it.Bio-Oil is applied twice daily, in circular motions to the scar for a minimum of 3 months. Apply Bio-Oil to new scars only when the wound has healed. Do not use on broken skin. The effect is individual.
• Stretch marks: When the body expands faster than the skin covering it, it tears in places from the excessive stretching, forming a scar as it heals. These marks remain on the surface of the skin in the form of stretch marks. The tendency to form stretch marks varies depending on skin type, race, age, diet and hydration level. More prone to stretch marks are pregnant women, people engaged in bodybuilding, adolescents with growth spurts and people with a sudden change in weight.
• Uneven complexion: Skin pigmentation is the result of uneven melanin production. It can be caused by external factors, such as excessive exposure to the sun or after using low-quality whitening products, or internal causes: such as hormonal changes associated with pregnancy, menopause or the use of oral contraceptives. Bio-Oil helps to improve the appearance of the skin in pigmentation and even out the complexion. Bio Oil is applied twice a day, with circular movements and for a minimum of 3 months. Bio-Oil does not contain a sun protection factor. Apply sunscreen only after Bio-Oil has been completely absorbed by the skin. The effect is individual.
• Aging skin: Skin wrinkles that appear as we age are usually caused by the weakening of the collagen and elastin fibers in the skin. Bio-Oil contains numerous ingredients that help preserve the youthful appearance of the skin, making it softer, smoother, more elastic and reducing wrinkles. Bio-Oil hydrates, which improves texture, complexion and visibly reduces fine lines and wrinkles.Bio-Oil is applied twice daily to the affected areas of the skin. The effect is individual.
• Dehydrated skin: The surface of the skin has an invisible oily layer that plays a barrier function and keeps moisture inside it. In a very dry climate, this lipid layer often cannot cope and much of the moisture evaporates from the skin. Daily bathing deepens this condition and destroys the lipid layer under the drying effect of soap and water. Bio-Oil supplies the skin with the necessary substances to restore the lipid layer and retain moisture.
Bio-Oil is manufactured according to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards set by the World Health Organization. All ingredients are tested for purity and microbiological contamination prior to production and a sample of each batch produced is laboratory tested and then preserved for observation over a 5 year period. It is available in a convenient 200 ml package.
