BIOTRADE ACNE OUT BP 5% emulgel 20
Acne Out BP 5% contains the active substance benzoyl peroxide, which attacks the bacteria (germs) known as Propionibacterium acne, one of the main causes of acne.
Acne Out BP 5% is a medicinal product for the treatment of acne.
Acne appears as blackheads and cysts that people often feel like pimples or spots located on the face, chest or back and is treated with this medicine.
Composition:
- The active substance is: benzoyl peroxide.
- Excipients: carbomer; propylene glycol; polysorbate 20; sorbitan stearate; liquid paraffin; trolamine; purified water, butylhydroxytoluene.
Warnings before using the product:
Do not use if:
- you are allergic (hypersensitive) to benzoyl peroxide or to any of the other ingredients of Acne Out BP 5%.
Please seek immediate medical attention if symptoms of an allergic reaction occur. Signs and symptoms of a severe allergic reaction may include a rash, with or without itching, swelling of the face, eyelids or lips, and difficulty breathing.
If any of the above applies to you, you should not use Acne Out BP 5% gel.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Acne Out BP 5% gel:
- Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, corners of the nose and other mucous surfaces such as the nasal mucosa. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with warm water.
- Acne Out BP 5% should not be applied to damaged skin.
- This product can bleach hair and colored fabrics, including clothing, towels and bedding. Be careful to avoid contact of the gel with these materials. Please make sure you wash your hands thoroughly after using it.
- Acne Out BP 5% should be applied with caution on the neck and other sensitive areas.
- Acne Out BP 5% should not be used during exposure to strong sunlight.
- People with fair skin are more susceptible to irritation when using Acne Out BP 5%.
Other medicines and Acne Out BP 5%
Please inform your doctor if you are taking any of the following medicines:
- Do not use medicines with a peeling-like effect, with an irritating and drying effect at the same time as Acne Out BP 5%.
- Do not use Acne Out BP 5% at the same time as any other anti-acne products that are applied to the skin, unless your doctor or pharmacist has told you, as this may cause your skin to become irritated, red and sore. .
- Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including those obtained without a prescription.
The simultaneous use of these drugs can strengthen or weaken the action of Acne Out BP 5%.
Pregnancy, lactation and fertility
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
Important information about some of the ingredients in Acne Out
Acne Out contains propylene glycol, which may cause skin irritation.
Driving and using machines
There are no data on influencing the ability to drive and operate machinery.
Method of use:
Adults and children:
- Wash the affected area with mild soap and water, and gently pat your skin dry.
- Apply the gel once or twice a day to all affected areas. If you have sensitive skin, apply the gel once a day before going to bed.
- The drying and irritation that may occur on your skin can be reduced if you vary the number of applications on the affected areas ie. once a day or once every two days until your skin adjusts to the product.
- The duration of treatment with Acne Out BP 5% depends on how quickly you improve
After you have used it for one month, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist again.
If your skin is exposed to strong sunlight, use a suitable sun protection lotion and apply Acne Out BP 5% in the evening.
If you have used more Acne Out BP 5% than you should or accidentally swallowed the gel:
If you accidentally use too much gel, you may feel that your skin has become more sensitive. Wash off the rest of the gel with warm water. When the irritation subsides, start using it again as before.
If you accidentally swallow any amount of this product, seek medical attention.
If you forget to use Acne Out BP 5%:
Don't worry if you missed using the gel at the right time. When you remember, start using the product again, in the same way.
