The action of Alpecin Shampoo against Dandruff and Hair Loss is in two stages.
In the first stage, the effect is obtained from the combination between salicylic acid and octopirox, which provides a delicate removal of dandruff from the scalp, through anti-inflammatory action, antioxidant effect (improved resistance) and antimicrobial properties. This combination performs gentle micro-peeling and relieves itchy scalp.
In the second stage, the effect is provided by the caffeine complex, removing dandruff from the scalp in the first stage helps the penetration of caffeine into the hair follicle for about 2 minutes. The main active ingredient penetrates in a depot form, which makes it active for 24 hours. The included salicylic acid has an antimicrobial effect, preventing the formation of new dandruff on the scalp and gently removing the top layer of dandruff. Octopirox is antimicrobial and prevents the formation of new dandruff on the scalp, and the caffeine complex activates the roots of the hair and improves its growth.
